Ingredients for 12 servings
- 1 Onion, Finely Diced
- 8 Slices Bacon, Chopped
- 4 Cloves Garlic, Minced
- 2 Cans Each of The Following: Great Northern , Pinto & Red Beans, Drained and Rinsed
- 1⁄2 Cup Molasses
- 1⁄2 Cup Ketchup
- 1⁄4 Cup Dijon Mustard
- 1 Bay Leaf
- 2 Tablespoons Adobo Sauce
- *For More Heat Add More Adobo or Chop & Add the Chipotle Chilies
In a skillet, sauté the onions, garlic and bacon until onions become translucent.
In a large sauce pan, add the beans, onions, garlic, bacon and bacon drippings. Add remaining ingredients and gently toss until well combined.
Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally for 25 minutes or until heated thoroughly.
Remove bay leaf and serve warm.
