Strawberry Delight

Ingredients for 9 servings

  • Cake:
  • 1 Box French Vanilla Cake Mix
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1/3 Cup Darigold® Butter, Melted
  • Topping:
  • 8 Ounces Cream Cheese, Softened
  • 1 Cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
  • ½ Teaspoon Lemon Juice
  • 8 Ounce Cool Whip®, Thawed
  • 1 Pound Fresh Strawberries, Sliced


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Prepare an 8x8 baking pan with cooking spray. Combine cake mix, eggs and butter in a large bowl. Mix until a dough forms. Press the dough evenly into the prepared pan. Cook for 18 to 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow cake to cool for at least 1 hour.
Prepare the topping in a medium size bowl, adding the cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla and lemon juice. Beat on high until all ingredients are combined. Gently fold in the Cool Whip® and mix until it comes together. Spread evenly over the cake and top with sliced strawberries.
