Rachel's Chili

Whether you’re making a big pot for a Sunday football game or just need an easy way to warm up a winter evening, this meaty chili will fit the bill.

Time: 6 hours


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 1/2 lbs beef stew meat
  • 3 15 oz cans ranch-style beans
  • 15.5 oz can kidney beans
  • 15.5 oz can black beans
  • 10 oz can diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 3 15 oz cans tomato sauce
  • 1 packet chili seasoning
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1/2 cups cup sweet onion, diced
  • salt & pepper
  • red pepper flake & hot sauce, to taste

Process

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef, drain then add the taco seasoning. Set aside in the refrigerator.

  2. In a large crock pot, add all remaining ingredients. Cook on low for 5-6 total hours, stirring occasionally. Add the prepared ground beef halfway through cook time.
