Mains
What happens when a charcuterie board and a grilled cheese fall in love? This Strawberry Balsamic Brie Grilled Cheese, that’s what.
Servings: 2
Time: 1 hr
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a medium bowl, pour the honey and balsamic vinegar over the strawberries. Mix the ingredients together, taking care not to squish the berries.
Place strawberries on a baking sheet and roast for 30-40 minutes, or until the strawberries are soft, but not mushy.
Once the strawberries are roasted, warm a skillet on medium heat.
Butter the outer sides of the bread. On the inside slices, layer 3-4 slices of cheese, then top with 2 tablespoons of balsamic strawberry sauce and a tablespoon of basil. Top with the other slice of buttered bread.
Cook on each side for about 3 minutes or until golden brown and cheese melts. Repeat with second sandwich. Slice and enjoy!
