Brown Butter Cauliflower

Ingredients for 6 servings

  • 1 Large Head Cauliflower, Cored, Cut into Small Florets
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter, Melted
  • 1 Teaspoon The Spice Hunter® Garlic Powder
  • ½ Teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 Stick Salted Butter
  • Mizithra Cheese, Finely Grated

Preparation

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Prepare cauliflower, washing, coring, and cutting into small florets, and place onto a baking sheet. Sprinkle garlic powder and black pepper over the cauliflower, then drizzle with the melted tablespoon of butter. Bake the for 35 minutes, checking for doneness, and continuing until cauliflower is fork tender, and has started to caramelize.
In a small sauce pan on medium high heat, add the stick of butter, and melt. Cook until the butter has reached a golden brown color and begins to foam.
Evenly pour the browned butter over the cauliflower and top with grated mizithra cheese.
