Ingredients for 6 servings
- 10 to 12 Large Jalapeños
- 4 Ounces Cream Cheese, Room Temperature
- 1⁄2 Pound Mild Pork Sausage
- 1⁄2 Cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese
- 1 Pound Bacon, Uncooked & Cut in Half
- 24 Toothpicks
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cut jalapeños in half and de-seed and set aside. (Be extra careful or wear gloves when handling jalapeños. Wash your hands thoroughly when finished).
In a skillet, brown the sausage and drain on to paper towels. Transfer to a large bowl, add the Parmesan cheese and cream cheese; mix until well combined.
Evenly stuff the jalapeños with the sausage mixture.
Wrap stuffed jalapeños with uncooked bacon and hold in place with the toothpicks. Cook jalapeños in a deep baking dish for 15 to 20 minutes or until bacon is done.
