Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large pan, cook butter, whipping cream and brown sugar over low heat, stirring occasionally, until butter is melted. Pour into 13 x 9 inch pan. Sprinkle with pecans then top with apple slices.
In a mixer, beat cake mix, water, oil, eggs and seasoning on low for 2 minutes. Spoon batter over apple slices.
